Raised as nature intended, 100% Grass Fed and Finished Beef without the use of hormones or antibiotics. Stewards of the land, our cattle graze over 100 acers of rolling hills in Fenelon Falls, Kawartha lakes. Following strict rotational grazing principles we are producing beef that’s good for you and good for the land. Producing food that not only sustains but regenerates are eco system is the goal at the Pavan Family Farm.

Why Grass Fed Beef ? Our cattle are only fed grass, grazing on pasture during the growing season and hay (dried grass) in the winter. We manage our pastures with intensive rotational grazing, the practice of grazing a portion of grass then allowing it to rest for a period of time. This is natures way, mimicking the buffalo of the prairie grasslands. The result is a thriving ecosystem, faster growing grass, more biodiversity, and the sequestration of carbon. Cattle fed and finished on grass will produce a healthier meat, high in CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) – important in cancer prevention, and the perfect ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6. You are what you eat and because of this we strive produce healthy and strong animals without the use of antibiotic’s or hormones.
